Coil Springs and shocks

Now I want to start off by saying that I'm well aware it's not a Cadillac. With that said, the springs on my TJ give about as much as a solid steel rod. So any recommendations on springs that will give a better ride? Also I'm looking to upgrade my shocks and would like the same result with those. Thanks in advance!!

I went with the BDS springs and shocks, in their 2" suspension lift. Good ride, and good price.

Your jeep looks lifted. What lift? I replaced my worn out stock springs and shocks with H&R springs and Bilstein shocks. Gained about 1 1/2 inches of lift and am happy with the ride. Good Luck

Thanks man, I have a 4" lift and leveled the front. The springs just do not give at all.

I just made a post asking about Bilstein shocks. Are they worth it? Good ride?

I've heard they're better than stock on Jeeps. $300 for 4 isn't cheap but an upgrade is an upgrade if it works well and lasts.

300 is cheap compared to what some are paying all said and done invested in shocks. I have the 5100's and when you realize how much effect shocks have on the ride over any other component 300 is not that much. If ride quality is of any value to the occupants of the Jeep it will not be cheap because its a combination of a few key components and none are cheap but are a must have to do it right.

I mean I'm ready to buy them at $300 cause there's so much hype over them. My shocks barely even work and one didn't so an improvement is worth the cost. Glad to hear another good testimony though.

How would you describe the ride? I almost went with that combination.

Mine were shot. Ride was was very soft and sloopy. Now rides with alot more control, not to soft and not to firm. I'm very happy with the combo.

That seems to be the consensus with the H&R and Bilstein combo. Thanks!
