Coils or shocks?

I have a 3 inch black diamond lift and I want to replace the black diamond shocks with ome shocks. However, I was thinking would these shocks improve the ride if I still have black diamond coils? Will the ride not improve much unless I replace both coils and shocks? Thanks guys!

The shocks, at least on coil spring TJs, have more to do with ride quality than the springs do. So going with OME shocks should improve the ride.

When you have a choice, buy American.
