Cold nights= no headlights?

so we have had 3 or 4 days now where it has been at or below freezing, 3 different ocassions i have gone out early in the morning or late at night after work and went to drive my jeep and the headlights wont kick on, no low or highbeams, the high beam indicator wont even work... they worked fine all summer and up untill the first night we got below freezing? they will kick on after about 5 minutes of driving which has me confused all the other lights work, i have wiggled the connections, checked fuses, unplugged one at a time once they are working and everything seems normal. any help on where to look?

You need a new headlight switch. My 97 has the same push/pull switch yours does and did the same thing for a year before it got so bad the lights would turn off if I didnt have the switch in just the right spot. $20 switch and 15 minutes later back in business.
