command-trac question....

I can put it in 4H but i cant put it in N or 4L...I done everything the book which says to go about 3 mph and put in the clutch/manual then move it to the right slightly then up to 4L....Do i have to force it over with alot off force or will it just move over then down with ease...can anyone help me out?

Your doing it correctly, just as it states in the manual.....Little info need ...Is your jeep lifted? Fix may be as simple as adjusting your linkage for the 4wd selector.

The lever has to be moved to the side a tad to get it into 4Lo and you have to be going at a dead-slow crawl, 3 mph is a little too fast IMHO. If you have an automatic, you may have to be stopped to get it into 4Lo and sometimes, you have to 'bump' (drive) it a few inches to get the gears to line up before it will go into 4Lo.
When you have a choice, buy American.
