ok so this is one of the few posts iv done where im giving advice rather than asking question. anyways, iv been having this wierd metalic popping sound when i turn my steering to the far right. not a rubbing sound but metalic like somethins slipping. after a few long hours searching fittings, arms, and different connection points i used a little common sense. i got a buddy to turn the wheel while i laid under and watched. it was my quick disconnect pin hanging on the tie rod, or maybe drag link not sure of the correct word for it. but, the pin was bent from all the pushing/pulling on it. moral of the story, sit back and use common sense, it'll save you time and a massive headache.:banghead:
well its easy to say "sit back and use common sense" but for some reason it seems 50% of people must have given it back or lost it because they don't have it
same thing happened to me on my last jeep, it was so bent i had to use bolt cutters just to get it off
