Confused about rear window options in terms of not using any???

I have a 99' Wrangler TJ with a bestop soft top on it and regular carpeted interior and it is parked at my house in Connecticut where, I DON'T have a garage. I have a good waterproof cover if I have the top down and want to cover it at night.

When I drive it, I really love to leave the rear window on and rolled up most of the time. This way, I can drop the soft top completely at any time I want or unroll it and zip it up if it starts raining, etc. And that is working out GREAT.

But here is my dilemna. I HATE putting the rear windows on and really like the idea of just leaving them off. I don't mind driving in the rain with them off and the back windows down and the top on obviously. But of course the carpeting on the inside of the jeep there right inside the rear windows always gets wet. And especially wet if I leave it parked somewhere for a while if it is raining.

Are there options out there or things that people do that might help me with what I am trying to achieve? I really want to keep the rear windows off. I would rather not completely take out the carpeted interior leaving my daughters up against all of that metal underneath. So as you guys can probably tell, I am a newbie and I can't figure out what to do. Any help that you guys could offer would be GREAT...

I almost never have my windows in this timenof year. If ya feel around after it rains wth them out the water reall only gets the tops of the wheel wells wet and your "trunk". Carpet dries stupid fast so no problem for me. Only time i put them in are if im goin to a muddy wheelin spot or when its raining sideways (learned that the hard way).

Poverty/College Budget 2004 TJ 2.5" RC coils, 1.25" BL, M95 shocks 4.5" up 4.75" down travel front, 4.7" up, 5.3" down rear

Live around Philly or south Jersey? Come wheeling or wrenching! Look in here \/\/\/

Two days after I purchase my TJ, the carpets were out of it. Just last week I finished bed-lining the interior. Now unless it is going to pour all day the back window will be out because out of all the windows that one is the most aggravating to get in and out.
