lift kits are so complicated...i have looked at some lift kits and have read reviews and some reviews will say "make sure you purchase the upper control arms as well" or something like that and i've looked at a few kits and i have looked at all the stuff it comes with and it comes with front and rear lower control arms but what about the front and rear UPPER control arms??? do i need them as well or will the kit include everything i need...cuz i know of a bunch of kits that only include upper or lower control arms or no control arms...do i need upper and lower or what? let me know what control arms i need! Please!

It really all depends on what height lift you are looking for. Until you get to about 4 inches you really don't need to adjust your pinion angle at all (angle of rear differential compared to rear output shaft on Tcase). Once you start going past that point with short arms then you need to get the adjustable variety to be able to adjust different measures ofyour rig.

Why don't you first tell us what your current plan is and then we can give you some tips on what to look for (budget permitting of course)

Even if it means spending a little extra money get a kit with upper and lower adjustable control arms. RE,BDS,Fabtech etc all make excellent lift kits that come with everything you need including extended stainless steel front brake lines that is why their kits are just a tad more expensive.

I've heard that the RE (rubicon express) lift kits come with EVERYTHING you need.. However, that is what I've heard so I don't know how much fact there is to that.. Check them out and see if that's what you're looking for :)
I have the RE 5.5 Extreme kit with rear tri-link. It had everything and drives better than stock. Great kit but a little pricey when you add it all together.
