Converting hardtop to soft top

Hello everybody just got a couple of questions concerning hardtops. I have a 98 sahara with a factory hardtop. I just got a new soft top that came with all new hardware and new soft top frame. I have heard this conversion from hardtop to soft top can be a little tricky when it comes to mounting the soft top frame. Just looking for any advice or any little tricks to doing it from people who have done this before. Thanks in advance. Dan

It's not tricky at all. I converted from a hardtop to a soft top less than a month ago. What kind of soft top did you get? Mine is a factory soft top, so it went up EASILY. Just two brackets on the rollcage, two little rails on the tailgate, and the door surrounds. Simple.
