Coolest interior/ Dash modifications

Ok so I just got into a new jeep 2010 rubicon and I must say, it made me jealous. The interior is so nice, has anyone tried successfully or not to put a rubi interior in a Tj, like the dash and seats? Because I'm strongly considering making that my next project... Just thought it would be a badass mod

Are you saying put a 2010 (JK) Rubicon interior in a TJ???

I don't think that would be possible.

But you could add some color to your TJ interior to make it a bit sportier.

I still have new carpet to put in it too.

lol, I had to do something. The Jeep was so bright and red on the outside but black and depressing on the inside. Then I saw LilYeller's interior and the next thing I know I am out shopping for spray paint. lol

I like how it came out.

Pulled the panels out and painted them. lol
I had to tape off the doors but the other panels don't need to be.

I cleaned them with soap and water and then wiped them down with acetone. Then I sprayed a few coats of Krylon Fusion, let it dry, roughed it with a Scotch Brite pad and sprayed about three coats of Duplicolor Perfect Match Flame Red.
Here's a better shot of the door.

That is sick Looks fantastic!

I have a black TJ, so there's no real reason for me to go this route, but still...

Stop giving me ideas

Not going to win an award, but since the Jeep is mostly offroad, I didnt feel the need for airbags, I did feel the need for more room. So I built this and stuck it in. It's been bedlined and trimmed out and has a 1inch lip added since these pics, but I dont have a current pic of it.

I just finished it last weekend so I don't know the long term strength of it yet, but so far so good.

I got the idea from LilYeller, he did his yellow TJ that way and I loved it. He said his is holding up well but he used just Krylon Fusion. For me the Fusion red just wasn't a close enough match to the body color.

Bad picture quality, but i sticker-bombed my dashboard bezels. I like the look of it, and it came out pretty well. This is what you get when you have a brother who has a Subaru, and modifies everything possible.

I'm inspired now. Can't wait for the stickers in the Jeep Beach goodie bag!

Wear and tear

How has the paint held up over time, has it faded from the sun? Thinking about painting my interior but I almost always have the top down.
