Cooper Discoverer SST Tires

I'm thinking about a set of Cooper Discoverer SST tires for my LJ. They look great and seem to have positive reviews. Anyone have personal experience with these tires they can share, good or bad.
Thanks

I have them on my '94 Calmini 3" lifted Geo Tracker. I love them. Wear really well and pretty quiet, I am in Vermont and they got me out of many messes..mud,snow etc..

That's the brand tire I'm getting for my next set.. Not sure which lettering, but the mud terrains.. The Defender crowd loves them, and most of those folks are very serious about their equipment.. BTW, nice to hear from the Geolander gallery

i have the AT3 also on my 2010 Superduty and love them amazing how quiet they are for the aggressive tread pattern which for a AT cleans out pretty good they will dig a hole in a hurry if not careful

Didn't Jerry say these Coopers weren't made in America? That matters to me. I like those tires as well and hear great things but these more than ever I feel it's important to keep the money in the U.S.

Coopers are made in USA,, Goodyear, or BFGs are a crap shoot.. I don't think anyone can say for sure where each tire is made any longer.

My buddy runs the 32s and he's at 80k on them. They have lived through hitting a wall as well. That's my next tire

I have them on my 06 rubicon and really like them. It is my second set. First set was on a k5 blazer in 35". now have 285's on the jeep. They are great. Mine say made in USA right on the side wall.

285s on my Rubi . no complaints . They are not loud at all . as a matter of fact they are just as quiet as the BFG ATs they replaced. They balanced great . If I could change anything it would be that I could of bought them in maybe a C rated tire so for one they would be a little lighter being I don't have them on a 1 ton truck

I had STT 33x12.5's on my ZR2 and when I got my jeep I bought a new set to replace the Cooper ST's that were already on it. Still in my garage. Just remember to rotate them and you'll never have any problems. I've got around 35k on mine now, tread is wearing clean. Plus they are sipped to some extent from the factory and they handle great in rain or wet pavement. Just my two cents.

Although I currently have Duratracs, I've had Cooper SSTs and they were great. Don't know if all styles of Coopers are still made in the USA (they used to be), but at least it's still a US company

I got a set of 33x12.50R15 in April of 2013. So far they have about 1000 miles on them and no noticeable wear. I love them on the street and in the rain. Very quiet. The really bite well into everything I've thrown at them. Highly reccomend!

I had stt on my Chevy duramax diesel and loved them. I rotated them every other oil change and had 70k them when I sold the truck. Excellent tire.

I've got the STT's in a 35x12.5x15. Pretty happy with them but I've noticed the sidewalls are really stiff, so I typically air down to about 8 psi anytime I go wheeling. Any more PSI than that, and I just don't feel I have the grip I would expect. Or maybe my previous tires just spoiled me.

the SSDs will throw mud in the air like no problem. I have used them in the rocks down in Nevada and they work great. lots of traction, great sidewall biters. you will be happy with him

I had the STTSs in a 31 inch for about 2 months and decided to go to the 33s same tire. Love them! Quiet for an aggressive tire. Anyone in the Portland Or or Vancouver Wa area want to buy some 31's with about 1000 miles on them?

Wish I was closer. Love Coopers. Great blend of good looks, off road performance, and comfort on the road.

How did the STTs do in the snow/ice/rain from the last storm?

I am looking at getting some 35's for my JKU.

I just got the A/T3 tires.Cant wait to get them mounted on the XJ.
Are the SST's for serious wheeling? They have a good pattern to them.
