Couple Engine Questions

Hey ya'll. I am looking at the possibility of putting a stroker in my Jeep. The other option I have been considering is a I6 with a Supercharger. Yes I know there is "better" options like a V8. But I want something a little diffrent. Plus I like to keep it Mopar. I am aware of all the other upgrades, ie..axles, ECM, and such... I am looking for information on what is involved in the motor building process. This is really something I want to do in my shop. I want to take pride in it and be able to say I built it. so back to the original question.... Where is a good place to start the information gathering process? Are there any good kits? Or is it piecing it together?

Thanks for all the help guys and gals.

hey, i and a couple other guys here are building strokers. there's a lot of options i guess. i'm going w/ 4.2 crank and rods, w/ 4.0 block. i'm putting it in a jeep that had 4.2, the cool thing is if you have a 4.0 already there's not much modification at all.

i have a spare 4.2 crank if you're interested.

here's a cool sight

you will need different injectors, i've heard mustang 5.0 injectors work well. but that site covers a lot of options. good luck and let us know how its going throughout.

i wanna hear about probs you run into so i can avoid them

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president."
