many times you can melt plastic back together with a soldering gun..I have one with the same crack so I will probably take it off and try that from the inside but it isn't a high priority

Thread revival!!!! Check your door handle strap thing...on the interior. Normally the 2 torx screws holding that handle loosen slightly and cause that minimal flex in that particular area..ive never had the panel off but I thing close to that area is a Christmas tree plug that helps hold the panel on..couple that with the placement of the actual door handle (that you open the door with) and its retaining screw even being a thread of 2 out..its enough stress to cause the cracks...Both mine are cracked..same spot..tighten them screws and the problem shouldn't get far as not sure of anything strong enough to handle it.

i have identical vertical cracks about 2" long on both driver and passenger doors...cracks are located right near the door-opener latch...these cracks are so identical the first time i saw them i thought the panels were manufactured that way! but the rest of my interior is so mint-condition it is like brand new inside. i have seen the exact same cracking on so many TJ's now that i am convinced it is just a poorly produced part.

2002 Wrangler Sahara, all stock, 5-speed, Dana 44, dual tan tops, 2nd owner.

2008 Hemi Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4, Quadradrive II, original owner, 24,000 miles.
