Cracked fender flares

Previous owner had fender flares installed. I have no idea the manufacturer. Black plastic of course. Went out today and noticed both passenger side flares are cracked in multiple places. Neither show signs of impact with anything. I assume the manufacturer used plastic with UV stabilizer since this is an exterior automotive part, So I doubt sun exposure caused this. Plus we keep it in the garage. I hit nothing, wife claims she hit nothing. I guess Some one might have backed into, sat on, or kicked them?

Anyone else have issues with cracked fender flares? Suggestions on decent looking repair?

Jeff

Yes... the infamous BushCrackers. Usually you have to tap a tree to shatter them but as brittle as they are it doesn't take much. Best repair would be to replace. I've seen full sets for as low as $150. but you may be able to find used ones that can be restored for much less in the classifieds or craigslist.
