Cracked header

I want to upgrade but dont know whats the best for the money

if you got a 97-99 with the single manifold i recommend the rugged ridge raw steel or an ebay header of the same style. If you have a 2000-06 just replace with the factory manifolds/precats.

Thanks does any one know about a banks power header would those be worth it

No, not at all. Both Banks' and Borla's headers are as prone to cracking as your header was.

What year TJ do you have? If it has the older single header design, make sure to get a replacement that has the two flex joints on it, one at each side. They look like compressed accordian joints that flex where the original headers tended to crack. Later factory headers added that same type of flexible joint. You can normally find aftermarket headers with the expansion joints on eBay.

The below headers have the two steel flex joints like we're talking about.

Also if you get the Ebay header, some come with a cheap gasket. Go ahead and get a FelPro gasket and some copper spray to spray the gasket before you install.

I have A 98 and thank you guys for the input wont waste money on a banks or borla
