mine is on the wheel left side, I turn it on then when I get to speed the set cruise control, button is on the same button just underneath it push that and I am good to go. Not sure what your set up is, hope this helps! If push come to shove go to the dealer and have them show ya.

I have noticed that sometimes--I have to push and hold for like a half a second--not sure if it is the button clock spring or whatever. But a light does come on up on the dash to tell you it is ready for you to set the speed. (to set the speed use the bottom of same button) You can set it in any gear above 35mph.

it doesnt have to be in 5th, i use it in 4th all the time, just push the top of the button on the left side and you should get a green "cruise" on the dash, then push the bottom of the same button and it will set the cruise to that speed, if it revs up a little when you set the speed then turns off id look for a vacuum leak or could be a bad servo?
