Custom side steps

Long time jeep owner and some what new to the WF. One of my favorite things to do is to take my beautiful wife out in the jeep. Her only complaint is that I needed to put side steps on. I decided upon shopping around to make my own rather than purchase them to save on the cost. I don't do alot of heavy duty 4-wheelin, just enuf to get me to my secret surf spots and fishin holes and the often occasional stroll thru the mud hole on my way home from work. I'm a machinist by trade and by heart so this was fairly easy for me. I just wanted to share them with everyone and get some feedback. They are made of all aluminum, and I cut the jeep sign out on a wsterjet and machined the brackets to install over the body mount bolts, then sprayed them with Hurciliner. These pics are from my first install and I still have to trim where the bracket crosses under the lettering.

Looks great. Be careful with the name usage, legally.

I don't think there is a problem using the name unless you are selling them.
