Cool Custom Simple Jeep Mods

Hello Everybody,
I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas for a mod that makes my Jeep stand out from the crowd but is light on the wallet. I am looking for anything. Winter is finally getting to me. Does anybody know of any nice mods for a door-handle or a grab handle on the dash in the front, a nice custom shifter knob. Anything at all will help. I am bored of winter and looking for something to do. Anything will be appreciated, thanks for your time!

Biggest thing on mine is the cut flares and chopped front fenders, only cost was the cj blinkers in the grill.

Good catch. Maybe a shelf for a dictionary and thesaurus.

Could you post up any pics of your custom console? My brother put an old military ammo box as his center console in his CJ but I can't really do that in my TJ since the cupholders are part of the center console

New headlights? With longer nights approaching us, different headlights will definetly set you apart from the crowd. Just don't buy the stupid purple or blue lights that the Honda racer kids use, they actually produce less light. I have Halo's Platinum White bulbs on mine they lighten the road up very nicely, and produce a very bright white light. Or you can always just get some fuzzy dice to hang from the rear view mirror. Classy, very classy.

Stickers. Find something jeep releated. I found a replacement for the JEEP sticker on the side of your jeep. Its an amrican flag colored "JEEP" they also had flames, camo, and a bunch of other ones.

I'm throwing in a USB port or 2, under the AC controls. There's plenty of room there for 'em on my TJ and I hate using any kind of cigarette lighter adapter to charge cell phones...bulky and ugly.

Introducing the Angry Jeep... For the cost of a few strips of electrical tape. And if you don't like it you can pull em off in a few seconds.

If you build your jeep so big and bad that it's really easy to get threw everything out there, then your going to get bored.

How 'bout a full bra? You can even get the kind with cut outs for the headlights - works for women!

Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but I love the tc shifter swap DevilDogDoc. Did you make the new shifter or aquire it from another vehicle? Was it hard to replace? I would love to do something simular.

Well I started a thread about this with a link to where I got the idea from but I can't seem to link back to it but if you look in my profile it's under threads I have started. The hardest part for me was drilling the extension for the knob part straight. I ended up welding the bottom to the factory shift lever for that same reason. Check out the thread you will see what I mean.

I'd like to see a picture of how this turns out.

1)Remove milk jugs/ paint light bezels
2)Make grab handles out of paracord, nylon straps, and the strap thingies
3)Mount your cb somewhere out of the way
4)Stickers. period.
