This looks awesome, currently i have standard flares on my TJ, and they are colour coded to the Jeep.

Since i got my new rims and tyres they stick out too much (illegal here in NZ), and they rub when flexing while offroad.

Probably going to get a set of the 7" Standard Flares and do this mod to them to make them flat (super hard to get flat fenders here in NZ). Here is my TJ currently with the same colour flares (am going to try paint the new 7" flares the same)

Hopefully in the new year i'll be able to upload an "After" photo

TJ fender chop

Just did mine last night. I have the RME so the flares are painted. I know some people were asking about this and if it flaked or chipped. I didn't have either of those problems. Used painters tape and razor blade. Sorry for the poor lighting.

Wheels, bumpers and grill have been done for a while. Took about 7 cans for entire jeep.

Thanks. Took a while. Didn't tape any. If you've used PD before, sometimes tape is a headache because it will pull up the coat. We will see how long it lasts.

I'm really digging the new look. I think it turned out pretty damn good!

Amazon has a 3/4" pair for $8. You can get red, amber, or clear lens and they're pretty bright.

Cut my flares to flat style and installed truck molding. I still have to install the Kc led signals along the side.

Cut my flares tonight. Really liking the outcome. Not to mention super easy. Still need to hit them with bedliner though.

I used masking tape as the guide and cut along with a jigsaw. Our box blades are all dull.

Sanded with 110, primed with self etching rust oleum primer, and bed lined those puppies. I also took off the fake Sahara rock sliders and added the body matched flares to the rear(which are gonna need trimming). It makes it look mean even with 31's!

Thanks! I hit the flares with bedliner tonight and they came out awesome. I also sprayed the inside of the wheel wells (after covering the shocks, stab links, and brake lines) and that really made it look sharp.
