I am trying to remove the cylinder head from my 2.5L to replace the gasket and get the head resurfaced/inspected. I have removed the 10 head bolts but cannot get the head to budge. I have hit it on the side with a dead blow hammer and pried on it with a sizeable pry bar. Is there any trick to getting it off? Are there other bolts holding it on that the FSM neglected to mention?
Also at the risk of combining two threads in one, what's the trick to installing the #2 and #3 manifold bolts? They are the ones on the bottom just to left and right of center. The best I have been able to do is get a socket on there with a universal which is pretty terrible for getting them torqued properly.
