dad wants to get a jeep

so my dad wants a jeep but hew wants a jk four door well i been trying to talk him out of it to get a tj but he dont want what would be the best trim to get somebody has a 2007 sahara for 24000 thats less than a mile away but we both say thats too much

That's way too much!!!!! Tell him to go for a '12 or newer,, he'll be much happier with the Pentastar engine..

That's ridiculous. I was browsing around at my Jeep dealer in December and they offered me a '12 JKU Sahara at 28,500 because they were making room for the '13's. Much better deals can be had if you dig around.

I know the feeling - I had mine for about two months when my dad got the bug and got a 2012 Sport...which he immediately jacked up and put on 35s. But yeah, we're both pretty impressed with the 3.6L that's in it, so I'd recommend a 2012 or up. He couldn't justify the expense of a Rubicon or a Sahara (especially since he's not PLANNING on doing any hard-core offroading and wasn't looking to get all the fancy stuff that comes along with the Sahara) so he went with the Sport and fixed it up the way he wanted.

but he put 7000 of stuff on it but i dont think that would jack up the price that much
