daily driver questions

lookin at gettin another jeep will be a daily driver back and forth to work 20 miles. lookin at 05 06 models thinkin i dont need a rubicon for what ill be doin (dd and campin trips to mountains) so thinkin about saving and money and goin with a sport model if i could find one with a d44 id be happy but a d35 would be ok if i was only gonna run 33 wouldnt it? and how can u tell the d35 and the d44 apart? is it looks or can u look at the VIN code and tell?

You should be fine unless you move up to 35s.

I have a 98 sport 5speed,31" mild mud tires,2" budget boost on factory 3.07 gears

In the city it is fine but on the interstate the 3.07s that the sport has sucks
5th gear is useable but the 4.0 likes to run above 2000 rpm and 5th gear doesnt allow that much.

gas mileage is about 14-16,not that Im complaining. Its my daily driver,50-70 miles daily and i trail ride alot. For 33" tires I'd love 4.56 gears

our streets are flat too,I couldnt see me putting up with 3.07's,33's and hills

for what your doing you will probly never break a stock setup

So no,not worth it unless your going locked on 33's,35" tires or have the coin to drop for the toughness.

quality wise yes the superior super35 kits is well worth the price and is unmatched.
I'll never need it but wish I could spare the coin
