Dam! This Sucks!

Today I finished my week long build:

HP Dana 30
4:56 regear
Adjustable controll arms
Metal Cloak front fenders
Oil Pan skid
36" Iroks

I had just finished up, busting my ass all week getting ready for a trip to Elbe tomorrow. When 20 min down the road on I 405, I was rearended by a guy in a cargo van! I checked it out briefly looked, OK, and was still driveable. After we swap info and do the song and dance, I get home to realize when the van slid under my rear bumper. It damaged my gas tank, not leaking, but dented and creased my gas tank pretty well. All that hard work! I had to vent lol!!!!

Dammit!
Maybe the van's owner will fork over an aluminum gas tank skid and corner armor to keep their insurance out of the loop!

Trust me, use the insurance. They will cover everything. When you have a body shop alot of the times they can get really good deals on upgraded items etc. i hope that makes sense

Thanks everyone! Im hoping to get the cash and use it for upgrades! I took it out today still and it performed great. Well up until my front driveline broke in two.

I would have to assume that the front driveline was damaged in the crash seeing as how it broke so soon after! The van's insurance should be liable. And isn't your neck hurting really bad all of a sudden?
This could be major upgrade time!

Yeah I called them last night. I would assume a company would have a decent insurance plan. Im not too worried about it, just sucks dealing with the back and forth game they will play.
