How does it have a 8.25? Did you put it there? The wrangler was only available with a dana 35 or dana 44 rear!

I would say jump to 4.88's vs the 4.56. with the 2.5. Though I am not sure they make 4.88's for the 8.25 chrysler. 35's is pushing it for the 8.25.

You dont have an 8.25, you have a Dana 35. Switching from 4.10 to 4.56 is pointless, swap to 4.88 with thw 2.5L. You can reuse both carriers but now would be an oppertune time to switch to a locker for the front. I would not suggest locking a stock Dana 35.

I would suggest swapping in a new rear end if you decide to go to 35s and heavily consider it if you're going to 33s..
