dana 35 axle kit

Anyone know a cheap axle kit to strengthen my Dana 35? I found some but they all included lockers. I really dont want to spend 1300 dollars. Im a mild wheeler so I'm not really concerned with lockers (for now). Thanks

An option some go with is to upgrade to chromoly axles.

Superior c-clip eliminator kit with 27 spline chromo axle shafts.

Inexpensive, no locker, stronger axles and bearings, easy install.

More importantly, if it does break, your axle and tire will not come flying off.

Just to play the bad guy, ive heard the c clip eliminators cause alot of stress on the bearings and cause leaking problems.

I couldve went with a c clip elim for my 8.8, but the clips arent the weak spot.

The Superior kit is "guaranteed" not to leak and replaces the stock bearings with D44 style... They also have a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Looking at the axles I see you can get bigger more spline axles. But would you not have to change the spider gears in the carrier for the axles?
