dana 44

I need a new yolk for my rear dana 44, will one from an older style chevy front axel work?

Without doing a quick bit of research on the internet, I don't know if the spline count is the same, or the yoke depth or seal diameter. But I have to ask, why don't you buy a new yoke for your Jeep, rather than one for a Chevy D44?
