dana 44 from a xj

I have a guy that contacted me about a dana 44 that came out of an xj and says he can weld the brackets on for the tj, does anyone know if this axle will work in my tj, thanks

Yes itll work, same width as tj axles, just make sure the gearing in it matches your front diff. XJ dana 44s usually came with 3.55 gears and rarely but sometimes 3.73 gears, unless this guy had them regeared.
