Dangling Hose

Got back from a bumpy bumper of a ride and find this dangling from the front end of my 2005 LJ. One end connects to the back side of the front differential and the dangling side has a plastic tip on it.

What is it? Where/How do I put it back?

That is the front diff vent hose, the end you are holding belongs up by the drivers side of your radiator.

Yep that goes right up on the drivers side of the radiator by the coolant.

You guys are good. Thank you.

I did some CSI work looking for the spot where this hose used to live. It looks like it fell off leaving no trace of its former life.

I'm thinking of a creative, temporary unless it works attachment scheme. I'm guessing the plastic tip is still in tact and all I lost was the bolt, or clip that used to hold it up on the radiator.

Once again, nice work fellas.

Hey that's great. You just taught me what that little plastic nub was for!

I went out to the Jeep to snap a pic. On mine it's attached between the radiator fluid tank and the front grille.

Hahaha the only reason I knew where it went is because I saw it there when I was looking under my hood the other day and was like what the hell is that thing lol.
