I did not have the warning sticker that you can see on Mr. Necromancer's lights. I think I also see one on his box. My housings are the exact same with the same writings but they just don't have the warning stickers.
If they are Hella e-codes then they are not DOT approved and they are for offroad use only here in the States. But A LOT of people run them here...as for a "sticker" saying for offroad use only, if they do not have DOT in the glass they are not legal. But I run them and have never had a problem passing inspection
Mine neither have the warning sticker nor the DOT writing on the glass.
Do the lights still work well? Any issues with the DDM kit?
I plan to do this soon, but I have Delta head lamps.
Hopefully these will work.
The lights still work great, they're super bright and I haven't had any issues at all with them. That being said I only put about 2 or 3 thousand miles on my Jeep a year driving to or from trails, and I recently bought a trailer and tow rig so it'll be mostly a trail only Jeep from now on so I won't be the best judge of long term street use daily driver style. If they break I'll be sure and post up what I did to make them fail. I'm good at breaking stuff!
I got bitten by a snake once, it died.
I will post them soon. Sorry I won't have 'before' photos coz I was really excited to try the new ones on. I want to post 'after' photos taken from a very dark place so that you can see how they really light things up at night.
