Dead battery

My battery goes down after three or four days sitting in the car port. I checked the battery drain with nothing on at 22.5 mA's. Is this normal ? If it is, I need to know who makes the best battery that will fit my stock 97 TJ.
Thanks for any information,
Ron

22ma sounds reasonable & not even close to being enough to drain your battery that quickly. I would first remove, wire brush, & then reinstall both battery connectors since weak/dirty/corroded/loose battery connectors can cause that problem.

If that's not the issue, I'd verify your battery is at fault by having an experienced battery tech perform a "load test" which is the only way to know the battery's true health.

If the battery proves to be bad, you can't go wrong with the Sears Diehard Platinum P4 battery which is an excellent battery. It comes with a 100 month warranty with a free exchange if it fails within the first 48 months. That particular battery is a strong favorite among experienced Jeepers.

I hate having battery problems with a passion! So I spent the extra money on the Sears Platinum and I am glad I did! Awesome Battery!

Just what I'm going to do when I can find one. Small towns are great until you need parts. LOL

The Diehard Platinum P4 (P4 is its size & connector configuration) is as close as your nearest Sears.

You won't be disappointed. They are expensive but worth it.

3rd'd. I ran my winch on and off for nearly an hour on a DieHard Platinum with the engine off. Didn't even hesitate to turn over when i was done. You'll be able to tell it's serious business as soon as you pick it up; sucker must be at LEAST 15lbs heavier than any other similarly sized battery...
