alright replaced original factory track bar bushing did not seem to be too much play, but figured i would start there.
did not stop Death Wobble. I did however learn that a BFH works well on the on the end of track bar
I did not change the bolt size...i read somewhere to go to a 7/16" bolt?
Is that necessary. the OEM has worked fine for thousands of jeeps.
I have been researching about death wobble for a little while now, and I used to agree that one should not band aid fix death wobble with a steering stabilizer.
However, i was driving down the freeway and i saw a car with a bad shock. We have all seen them driving down the freeway where the wheels is bouncing up and down a gazillion times a second and it got me thinking that ... maybe a steering stabilizer is a major problem/factor with DW not just a band aid fix.
Can we surmise that a supposed well sorted jeep will not get death wobble with a bad stabilizer?
Love to hear some input on this because after seeing the blown shock car, I am started to think differently about the stabilzer being a band aid fix, and believing it is one of many key components in the elimination of DW.
