I got this color by accident. Everything else about it was what I was looking for and the color didn't offend me so I bought it. Now I really like Barbie Gold.

Got that color on my 03 Sahara. Paint code PJC. Love the color. Three in town just like it so have to do some black work on it to make mine differrent. HATE the Brown hardtop, so it'll be the first thing painted. The brown looks like 3 day old dog do-do. Just deciding on which paint to use. Powdercoated the stock rims black and a few other little things and really liked that. Figure once I get rid of the brown roof it'll really come together

The guy I bought it off of had kayak cradles, he kept those and the crossbars. The basket is on my wishlist though...

After driving 175 miles, one direction, to find out I had been lied too about the condition of another Jeep, I drove the 175 miles back home and found mine on Craig's list (30 miles away). I found it with-in five minutes of being home and it had just been posted. I have had a lot of compliments on the desert pearl color. Of course, it looks almost new as it is a 2000 Sahara and only has 66,000 original miles. I feel like I found a good one.

You can find this paint on Touch Up Paint Online - Remove Car Scratches as long as you know what the color code is.

That's the color top I have. Going to get a military OD paint job done up in VA in a year or two.

Mine is an 04 TJ, havn't had it long and have had several comments on the color. Wife likes it cause it's a real close match to the motor home color, that was important to her!! Black hard top and flairs, 16" wheels make it just right.

Dude, why is your jeep 'mating' with the bale of hay??!!....wouldn't it be great if there was another pic like this, but instead of hay it was a hummer!

I have grown to like this color very much - At first I felt a pearl-coat was a bit effete for a Jeep, but it is an amazing color. Like the desert, it changes color with the light - appearing anywhere from gold to tan.
It is not an easy color to find as it was only produced for a couple of years. It is also hard to find touch up paint (but it does exist)
I am using black as the accent color, and hope to have the wheels and headlight rims painted Desert Sand, so there is no chrome on the Jeep.
