Did I get a good deal on this LJ?

Hey Guys, So I just got home with my new LJ. So far I LOVE it.
Here are the specs;
2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. 6 cyl. auto. 4 in. (i think) Skyjacker lift. 33 in. Mickey Thompson MTX tires.
I paid $13,500, good deal?
I would greatly appreciate any comments!
thanks in advance.

I'd say you got a good deal for sure. I'm looking for an LJ Rubi now and finding one bone stock for less than 15k has been challenging.

Good deal....
Now: go through it and start doing all your new owner / preventative maintenance.
Spark plugs, air filter, oil change, coolant flush, differential fluids, alignment, balance tires, brake inspection, suspension inspection, replace wipers, etc, I'm sure I'm missing stuff but this is more important than your next mod (my .02)

Talking

LJ looking good, though it doesn't matter, I think you paid a very good, reasonable price. Want to make yourself feel better about the ching? See how many LJ's were produced?.....Waiting????....OK...now don't you feel better. Auto or stick? Now you can join in the LJ hardtop thread. Great find, going to love it, nothing else needs to be said. Congratulations.

Thanks again for the comments everybody!
So forgive my newbieness, this is probably a stupid question, but when I got home I realized that my sway bars were disconnected. Does this look normal? Or do I need new sway bars?

The sway bar should be fine, you just need new end links, you can buy them for less than $50 each. That looks like a stock link that is broken, but with a 4" lift I thought you would have longer links. Maybe that's why it broke.
And it looks like the "ball" part of the link that is left on the sway bar is facing the wrong way on both ends. Has the sway bar been taken off and put on reversed??

Edit; after looking at the picture again I see that the sway bar is just hanging down. There should be a couple of brackets and bushings holding it up to the frame.

I hope it's not a stupid question! On my first outing, a guy heading up the group I was riding with said, "Make sure you air down and disconnect your sway bars."

I was all, "... What the hell is a sway bar?" It's a learning process.

You can either get quick disconnects or an Antirock system. Rather than set off yet another debate over which is better, I'll steer you to this link.

Who needs a sway bar? I took mine off completely. Yea its a little wobbly on the highway but not too bad. I may put an aftermarket one on sooner or later though.

Uhh, I'd hate to be a passenger in your Jeep when you need to swerve to avoid something at highway speeds.
