interesting, i bought my RockCrusher (now SOLID) diff covers from ROKMEN. They work and have held up to alot of hard knocks. They have a machined surface and mine havn't leaked at all in the 2 yrs I've had them. I havn't had a chance to see the ROKMEN ones yet.

They might have had a secret stash of the RockCrusher diff guards... they are not selling the Riddler ones.

I know that this isn't one of your choices, but I really like my Crane diff. cover. It has held up to quite a bit of abuse, with no marks on the cover to show for it, just a couple of scratched paint spots...

Id say SOLID for sure. On a side note has anyone ever seen/had any experience with the ClearGearz diff cover? It looks pretty cool, like the idea, just dont know how well it would hold up.

Plastic and Differential are two words that should not be together in one sentence. Of course its the same stuff as bulletproof plastic... but the take a bullet it has to be like 3/4" or thicker... the ClearGearz is only like 1/4" thick. Not something I'd want to trust.

The owner of Riddler is the designer and original manufacturer of the Crane diff covers. Here is a good place to order them from:

I'd suggest rear. Seems to me the rear takes more of a beating and with the cover being behind axle it's real easy peel the stock diff cover back.
