Diff protection

I'd like to hear your suggestions. Sliders, protectors?

I'm not a big fan of sliders but I see their advantage. While the bottom of axle housings are like 3/4"+ thick cast iron, some do have parts that could get hung up on rocks as you dragged them across. If you really have a problem with that, a slider might be for you. Other than that, a good quality strengthened diff cover should be about all you need.
