Red face Do u have a 5'0 GF/WIFE and a standard Jeep?

Hey Jeepers,

Anyone have a 5'0 tall wife or gf (or if you're a chick that tall) and a standard Jeep?

I'm looking at two TJ Jeeps, one is manual, I read someone that someone 5'0 has difficulty reaching clutch in Jeeps (it may have been JKs I don't know).

Can someone confirm or debunk this by having them sit in it, etc. The jeep is like 2 hours away, hate to get there and have that issue.

Thanks

No, but I had a girlfriend that was 4'10" that had a jeep. She had no problems at all.

My 5'-0" wife drove an 02 TJ auto, an 05 LJ manual, and now a 10 JK auto. Floor controls were not a problem, but she did use a seat cushion on the TJ & LJ for more seat height.......

Don't forget, it's not the height but how long your legs are. If someone if too short there are ways to fix that.

My girls 5'3" and our TJ has a 4" lift, no probs with getting in (though it is a bit funny, w/o stepsides) and she has no issue with the clutch.

My wife is 5' 1" short legs and she can reach the clutch just fine with the seat all the way up.

Its been answered but just confirming. My wife is 4'11" we have a 6" lift on 35s. In and out is funny but driving is no issue. Seat risers would be better but she's fine.

My wife is 5'-2", 05' Rubicon, no lift, w/auto, seat moved forward.
It's hard to keep her from driving it...she loves it!

True, but those human growth hormones don't work very well past the teen years.

I'm 5'1" and adding a 1" seat riser made a huge improvement for me.
