Does a 94 hardtop fit 2003 Wrangler X

Hello,
Love the site lots of great info, I have a 2003 Wrangler X with a soft top and a friend want to give me his hardtop for winter it came off of his 1994 Wrangler, will this top fit my 03, Help.

Yes but its takes a good amount of modifying. I believe the YJ hard tops are longer than TJs.

Hard tops are not needed in NJ or anywhere in the lower 48.

Both as a commuter vehicle in NW, NJ
April 2012.downsized and now a 99er.

Define needed. I have both top and the hardtop is much better to deal with in the winter. It is easier to clean and see out of in the snow and salt plus saves on wear and abuse on the soft top half the year. Other people get hard tops for the added security
