You don't need to buy the tamper sockets those are set at the factory to get the windshield and the rest of the stuff in the right place. All you have to do is take out the ones on the windshield frame and the roll bar behind the padding.

I took a drill to the middle of mine. Use a punch to center the drill bit then drill out the metal stub. Now I can just use my regular torx set

Yep, cause you dont even remove the security torx. Per the TJ owners manual you remove the 4 standard torx bolts (2 on each end) to remove the bars.
