Does the sahara have a bigger body size than the sport or other wrangler models??
I just recently bought my jeep. It's a 2003 sahara. I really love it but my problem is everytime i look at it i swear it is bigger/longer than the sport. I always loved the sport but the sahara is what worked out for me and though i think it is a great jeep and i got a good deal i still cant help but wonder if i should have waited because the small/short body size was one of the things i loved about the wrangler in the first place. I really need a definitive answer because ive checked on the web and everyone is telling me that there is no difference in body size, except of course for the 4 door models (WHICH I DO NOT HAVE) So can anyone tell me or sure.. is there a difference in body size of a jeep sahara and sport or other wrangler models? Which is the smallest??
The only difference between a Sahara and any other Wrangler is trim. The Sahara has more carpeting, 1" wider fender flares, unique paint colors, green upholstery, etc. There is no body size difference.

I can't see the pic you attached on my iPhone for some reason but it's possible you have different fender flares or different suspension that are giving you the illusion that your jeep is bigger sahara's came the same size as every other 2 door so no need to worry.I'm pretty sure it is a higher end trim package then the sport so you got a better version.
What year did Jeep come out the the extended body, I think it was called Unlimited? Not a 4-dr but I think it was about 12" longer back of the doors giving a little more room to the rear seats and storage area behind the rear seats.
But I know looks can be deceiving. In 2008 I was looking at a GMC Canyon PU which is their small PU. Found a used 2006 Chev Colorado (same truck) and bought it thinking it was just as small as the Canyon. But it always feels bigger due to the larger tires on a Z71, torsion bars instead of springs which sets it higher and I don't know what else. But it still fits in our garage just like the Canyon did when we test drove it. It still drives and feels like a much bigger PU than what I thought I was looking for.
