You can put 37's and 40's doesn't mean you should. 8.8 swap isn't to expensive to do if you really want to do it correctly.

35's would be fine 37 and 40's are a completly different story.

It makes a dramatic change to your center of gravity. Sharp turns can land you on your roof.

I would wait it out and save some $$$$. I bought my 2000 Sahara with 160k miles for $4k.
