Owing to the relative anonymity of the internet I will admit that I named mine 'Thumper'.

Word just got out over the coaster forums Great American Scream Machine at 6 Flags Great Adventure is having it's last day of operation on July 1st, then it will be torn down. So I'm going to name My wrangler Great American Scream Machine in honor of this great coaster.

Now i just need a crying smilie to complete this post.

Only had mine two weeks. In time....I'm sure I'll end up calling it all sorts of names. For now I call him/her "TJ" (or "Teej" if im feel'n particularly pithy)

I know I dont get any extra credit points for creativity, but it'll do until he/she reveals her true identity.

Thinking I'm going to end up calling mine Christine. Mostly because I'm a huge Stephen King fan. (as if you couldn't already tell) Secondly because Jeeps are reputed to have lots of personality. Kind of like Christine did.

Ive only owned 3 vehicles in my life a Camaro named Natalie, a 240sx named Veronica, and now my Jeep named Trisha. I think everyone that is a true grease monkey should name their ride, its like a dog, if you dont name it, it will be easy to give up to a nice farm family lol but if you name it you will have a tough time getting ride of her and will miss her once shes gone.

I've been known to refer to my Jeep as "Nellybelle" at times even though I didn't officially name her that. If you remember Pat Brady riding the range in the '46 Willys Jeep named Nellybelle on the Roy Rogers Show......then you are Chronologically Challenged.....as am I.
I loved the Roy Rogers Show and it started my yearning for a Jeep.....at an early age. In the military I was around Jeeps and that only whetted my appetite. When I retired I finally took the plunge and haven't looked back.
When you hear me holler "Whoa Nelly".....you better get outa the way!

This is my first Jeep.
On my first off-road adventure in my first jeep, my first camping trip of the season, I saw my first wild bear, walking toward my Jeep right after setting up camp.
I figured that's an omen, so I named her "Bear".

Where I grew up, Alaska, almost everyone names their vehicles... My girls name is Betty... First time I rode her, it just came to me... I used call her Bouncin Betty... 6" lift on mudders... She bounced on pavement XD... I replaced the mudders with all terrain so she doesn't bounce as much... Thinkin bout going back ...

LOL, well I'm certainly chronologically challenged because I had forgotten all about Nellybelle. I do remember he took his jeep everywhere Roy and Dale went on their horses.

I've never named an automobile and I've been licensed to drive since 1964. I did name my mountain bike a couple years back. The frame has broken twice (rear triangle) and I've been able to bolt on fresh parts both times. It's is definitely a "Thumper." ('04 Specialized Enduro)
