Great names....mine is still too new...1 week old. However, now that I think about it, my friends have been calling my jeep "topless". We will have to see if it sticks or not. Love my jeep.

That's what they call those fishing boats you can flip over and put on the roof of a car and take to the lake!

Mine is "Old 97" (its a 97 TJ).... from one of my favorite Johnny Cash songs, "The Wreck of Old 97". I just hope I haven't jinxed myself
I got lucky and will soon have "Old 97" as a vanity plate.... I was surprised that no one had already taken it.

My ladys name...

Long time looker, finally a member

My first Jeep was an '84 Jeep Cherokee - called it "money pit"...

My current Jeep, a 2004 Wrangler Unlimited, hasn't really shown me what she wants to be called yet. Moved from NorCal to TX a couple of years ago, so I don't have access to the kind of wheeling that I really like to do.

A couple of possible names that come to mind are:

"wannabee" - as in; I "wannabee" in the mountains...

"GR" or "Grouse" - short for Grouse Ridge. One of my all time favorite places to wheel and camp..

Eventually, she will tell me...

I have yet to name my Jeep. But I agree it should be something that is done by accident or by virtue of characteristics. Not just something you thought of. This is the same for fighter nicknames. If you give it to yourself, its just cheesy. I think you can name your own Jeep if it has some meaning. Not just "Red" or "Blue". Rosie is fine for red or Turk, if you had Turquise color or something like that.

I usually just call it my jeep, but I've been really thinking about calling it Sarah after a girl I was really good friends with in high school who got hit an killed by a drunk driver when she was 17 driving a TJ.

The fiance swears I'm naming it after my last ex who was a lot skinnier and cuter....but I could care less about her these days.

Blue has been rechristened "Miss Blue" by my mother during our visit to FL. Seems fitting, so guess Miss Blue she is.

I know this is getting off topic, but I had to share. My dad used to have an old piece of junk blue Ford mini van that he bought for $350 to take garbage/yard clipings to junk yard.

My wife and I called it: "El Nacho Azul"

Anyway, I've had my jeep for around 6 years now and nothing has stuck.
