I love these boards - thanks for all the tips! I will dry the dog brush and see what I can do. I bought a new vacuum a couple years ago (could not afford a Dyson), but that might be on the "to buy" list.

Please keep the tips coming!

Thanks if you agree with me.

Trained my dog not to jump out of the back of the Jeep. Took some time training in parking lots and side roads but it can be done. A latex glove rubbing carpet or a seat will generate static and bring the fur to the surface. Then an easy vacuum. Been detailing cars for 25yrs and wish I learned it sooner. Hasn't failed me yet.

I was worried about that one, but all the time dogs are hanging out of the beds of trucks around here catching the air as they go down the road.
I have seen that many times (the dogs on the tool box) really freaks me out. Once i even say a guy driving down the highway with 2 dogs running around on the back of a flat bed.

Those NJ laws would make me move. Trained dogs are also not flight risks...period.

My 125 pd rottweiler rode around in the back seat of my '78 CJ 7 for most its life. She sat in the center of the bench seat like a human for gods sake.

I have a twisted sense of humor, so we would dress her in a T-shirt and shorts and drive around town. People would just stare and I would laugh my ass off.

She was well trained and would never even think of leaving us regardless of what would appear at a stop light.

I miss her terribly now that I think about it. RIP Princess Pagan. You are missed.

I have 3 Siberian huskies and the C.res. They love riding in the back. My 50# all white husky rides on top of the wheel well leaning against the cargo net. I'm confident it will keep them in, at least while I'm still in the jeep not so much if I left them alone in there.

'Cuz im Mr. OOGIE BOOGIE and you ain't going NO WHERE.
