Door Holes

What does everyone do with the stock mirror mounting brackets after moving your mirrors? Also, what do you do about the holes left in your doors where the bracket used to mount to? I am a little concerned about my doors getting water in the holes and rusting out. Any suggestions?

Keep your old brackets because you will use them again. IMO - the relocation brackets suck but I tolerate them in the summer.

Use the old screws to fill the holes.

This is what I do.
And in the winter I put my mirrors back on the door.
