Door lock cylinder, force entry issue....

well, today after getting in my car i noticed that from the inside i was unable to unlock the door, but from the outside i worked, and with the key inside the lock i was able to unlock it from the inside.

when i took out the door panel for further inspection, in the mechanism i remove the rod that conects the cylinder with the rest of the stuff and wallaaa, the inside mechanism worked great, so i pinpointed all the issue to the cylinder,

after doing that i took a closer look at the outside of the door, and noticed that the cylinder was dented and push in a bit, like if someone tried to force it with a flathead and pushed it down, so what would take to fix this while keeping my key?

I would have a lock smith work on it, a good one might be able to repair it so that you can still use the same key.
