Door Lock Cylinders half/full doors?

are the door lock cylinders from half-doors interchangeable with the full doors?

just bought full doors for my half-door equipped TJ; one of the new doors is missing a lock cylinder; the other, of course, doesn't match my key. not that there's any point of locking the doors on a soft-top. its a matter of principle!
and...there's a hole in my door that needs to be plugged with something.

So my thought was to just swap w/ the half-door cylinders--(swap one, cannibalize the other)--get a replacement for the missing cylinder when I get around to it.

well, I answered my own question, I guess. Just went out and did it.

the answer is--cylinder appears to be the same, but the hardware to attach it to the door is different, and there's a bracket on the back of the cylinder that attaches to an metal arm/linkage; both this bracket and the link arm are different.
Lucky for me, the PO of these doors left this hardware inside the door! wrapped up in tape, stuck to the inside of the door. Didn't even notice it there, at first.
I can't imagine it is very easy to find these parts.
I was able to remove the bracket and c-clip from my existing cylinder, and swap it with the parts for the full door.
The 'clip' that is nearly impossible to reach that holds the cylinder in place--that is longer than the one in the half-door, so it can stick out behind the carrier for the window. (there's nothing in the way of it on the half-door, so they used a shorter clip.)

So, "lucky me". dodged a bullet.

I don't know; haven't decided, yet. Its kind of fun driving around with the top down and the half doors. When it cools down, though, the zipper window is a pain. I have to think about it.

Yes you dodged a big bullet, I cannot find those parts to save my life, and at this point the dealership can't either.
