Door shrouds with hard top

So I had to order these door shrouds since my Jeep came with a Hard top. My question is can I leave them on when I go back to the hard top this winter or does the hard top make it impossible to have both?

So you bought the silver one with the Canadian gauges? Congrats!! Where's the thread announcing that??? Fill out your Jeep Profile as well. I need the door surrounds myself. Mine was a Dual Top optioned Wrangler but the surrounds seem to have been misplaced. I think you will have to remove them to put the hard top back on. Easy though. Only four bolts with thumb screw heads.

Yes, you have to remove them. The door surrounds shape are already integrated into the shaping of the hardtop.

Hardtop will not install with the door surrounds attached.

Here is all the info on changing tops.

Hopefuly you did not pay too much by "ordering" them. Door surounds are for sale all the time in any of the various Jeep forums for 70-100.

yup. i just bought a pair of surrounds, and you do have to take them off when you put the hard top back on. It takes about 5 seconds though!

Just wanted to get a +1, yea you have to take 'em off!

With that video, is there a part that actually SHOWS how to remove the soft top and install the hardtop? I didn't think so when I watched it before, but I was only skimming through it.

It shows how to remove the hard and install the soft. Removing the soft and installing the hard is just the opposite.
