door swap help please

does anyone know for sure if i can swap half doors from a 98 with full doors from an 04. we just got my fiance a 98 sport and i want her half doors and she really wants full doors. i have looked around and cant find a for sure answer.

they should swap fine unless there is a change to the striker or something. just try it and see. only 2 nuts per door and off they come.

im a vet at taking the doors off, love riding that way. i have heard that there might be a difference in the angle of the a-pillar or the whole windsheild. i have also noticed that there is normally two different soft upper doors for 97-02 and 03-06 in all the parts catalogs.

i heard that thing about the angle of the whole windsheild too ...dont know if its true for sure though

You've got them both sitting right there. Give it a try. Post up results as I too have heard that 03+ is slightly different so I'm curious also.

They should swap fine, the changes made in '03 were on the interior and in the drivetrain. VERY little on the exterior of the vehicle, at least that is the impression that I am operating under in my search for half doors.

My '00 full doors went on an '05 just fine. His '05 half doors went on mine fine too.

I just swapped some 05 full doors for my 97 half doors. They fit fine. The door lock is flipped though. A little confusing the first day.
