Alright now I will answer all of your questions. I bought my TJ with YJ doors and a YJ hardtop. It will all work together if you have both the doors and top off of a YJ. You cannot mix a TJ top and YJ doors or YJ top and Tj doors. The lines on the doors and tops are different. Also when having the YJ top the rear gate is very difficult to open without scratching it on the bottom part of the top. Also in order to have the doors you need YJ latches on the tub. It looks like a pole instead of a latch. ADJUSTMENT is key. You'll spend a good couple of hours adjusting it all. Remember that the YJ door roll down mechanism inside the door will hit the dash so you have to keep pointed in towards you. ALL IN ALL I would personally say its very worth it to buy the doors and top off of a YJ if you desperately need them. I just had mine strictly for the winter and then took everything off for the summer. Then eventually bought TJ doors and top when it was in my budget. YJ Doors and Top about $800, TJ Doors and Top about $1600. If you have any questions feel free to ask I also have pictures if you need them. Here's one example...

The doors will fit the same, but the YJ latches differently. It can be changed by moving the part on your tub and aligning it with the YJ doors. I am assuming that you have a TJ and have found a good price on some YJ doors. Be careful with older YJ doors because the rubber gaskets can be dried out and need replacing. JC Whitney sells the new gaskets, but after you pay for those and install them you may have not have saved much money over all.

The latch itself is different than the TJ. YJ doors will not latch on a TJ latch

Didnt YJ hard doors have the little vent window? I have always really liked those vent windows, and would love to have them on the TJ.

...as one simple question in one sentence. Might get more responses. Its a little confusing as to what your actually asking.
