Doors & Soft Tops; Doors interchangeable?

I've got a '99 TJ with soft top and half doors. Currently this setup includes the surrounds that the top attaches to.

If I go to full doors, do the surrounds have to be removed? If so, does the top attach to the full doors?

Thanks for the help.

If you have a softop (OEM) you have to have the surrounds. All doors need the surrounds.

I have full doors on my '01, full doors do require door surrounds(with the top on) & the soft top does attach to the door surruonds.

OK; thanks very much. Wasn't sure if the surrounds interfered with the full door. This is good news.
