DPG Lift install finished

It's finished the ultimate lift from dirk. Went pretty good. Also slapped on the 15x 33-12.50 duratracks.

Thanks guys! I love it. Yea, I built that shop back in '01. Have mostly snap on tools with a few craftsman. I'll try to get a few pics of the suspension on here in a day or so. Fixing to get it aligned. Should I take it to a 4x4 shop or just my local garage? Shouldn't be that bad for the local guys should it?

Fender flares were on it when I bought the jeep, not sure which they are. Wheels stick out past them about 1.5". I'll try to get a pic of that too

I upgraded to the nitro charged. Haven't put my spare on or my homemade front winch bumper on yet. So the ride is still alittle stiff, as dirk told me it prolly would be. Extra few hundred lbs should make the ride better in the next week or so.
The mml wasn't very smooth for me. First timer. If I had to do it over again I'd have someone there to help me and have a few ratcheting straps and long pry bars. To push and pull. Had hard time getting the motor back where it needed to be to get the bolts in. Read where people push and pull the floor jack around but it wasn't that easy for me, it'd just spring back. Also you'll need a crows foot with 3/8 drive an extension. To get the last bracket bolt in on passenger side. Not sure if crows foot is the right name of the tool or not.? Short opened end wrench with 3/8 drive hole in it?

Oh forgot. I finally ended up taking all the nuts off the transfer case so I could jack the motor up high enough, when I lowered it back down they lines up perfect, but I have read where some didn't line back up so well.

I also had a ton of trouble when I did my mml 2 weeks ago but what allowed me to finally get it was loosening the 4 trans mount bolts almost all the way. That helped me because the problem I was having was when I would jack up the engine the front would go up but the back was sticking, and so the trans mount bolts made it slide right in! I would also get a friend to help u I had to have a friend pushing on it till I could get the cross bolt to slide through.

The MML wasnt too bad for me when i did it, however; i did have a buddy of mine helping me so it definitely made a huge difference. Loosening the 4 trans mount bolts will also help you too. Youtube has a video made by "Rokmen" that shows you some tips (its the 2nd video - part 2). IMO itd be worth your while to check it out.
